Our early morning half-day trip is a popular choice, offering a serene start to your day and the chance to witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of birds taking flight in the soft glow of the African sunrise. Lasting no less than four hours, this safari is an unhurried exploration of nature’s wonder, complete with a light breakfast, tea and coffee, and mineral waters to keep you refreshed and energised.
Our safaris are conducted in open 4×4 vehicles, allowing for an uninterrupted view of the beautiful surroundings, combined with short walks to get you closer to the action. We cover a variety of habitats in and around Victoria Falls and the Zambezi National Park, ensuring a diverse birdwatching experience.

- Pick-up Time: The safari begins in the morning at 06:00 hrs. Afternoon safaris are also available upon request.
- Duration: The safari lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours, from pick-up to drop-off.

- Inclusions: The morning safari includes bird watching, a light breakfast, and tea/coffee.
- Exclusions: Please note that an additional entry fee of US$15.00 per person is required. This fee must be paid directly by the clients upon entry to the national park.
- Group Size: We can confirm your safari with a minimum of 2 clients. Larger groups can also be accommodated with sufficient notice.
- Dietary Requirements: Please kindly inform us of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
- Dress Code and Essentials: Clients are advised to wear neutral-coloured clothing (no bright colours) and good walking shoes. Also, please remember to bring binoculars, as they are essential for bird watching!
- Cancellation Policy: Please note that any safari cancelled less than 24 hours before departure time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Private and Full Day Safaris: Private safaris are available upon request. We also offer a full-day combination of walking/game driving. However, we can only confirm a full-day safari with a minimum of 4 clients.
- Age Restrictions: Please note that we do not allow any children less than 16 years of age on any activity that involves walking, unless special permission is sought.
- Fitness Requirements: For any safari that involves walking, we require the clients to be in good physical condition and capable of walking at least 10 kilometres or 6.5 miles.
- Booking: All bookings must be received in writing. Regrettably, we are unable to hold bookings made over the telephone.

An unforgettable blend of tranquil river cruising and immersive bush birdwatching, guided by expert naturalists for a front-row seat to Victoria Falls’ wildlife wonders.
This great experience begins with a cruise on the Zambezi in a in a small, exclusive 8-seater boat equipped with a quiet 4-stroke engine. The lush surroundings of the Zambezi River are home to an incredible diversity of bird species, including kingfishers darting over the water, bee-eaters swooping gracefully, and herons stalking their prey in the shallows. With binoculars in hand, you may spot rare and colourful birds such as the African Skimmer, African Finfoot, and Long-toed Lapwing.
As the sun rises higher and warms the land, you might also encounter other wildlife such as hippos bobbing in the river or elephants drinking at the water’s edge, adding to the enchantment of the safari. The experience includes a light breakfast with tea, coffee and mineral water served in a scenic spot, allowing you to reflect on the serene beauty of the Zambezi River and its feathered inhabitants.
After the river cruise, clients will set off to explore several inland habitats in an open 4×4 safari vehicle, in search of the many bird species found in the wilderness areas around Victoria Falls.
